Lead Risk Assessments
At Stokes Environmental Group, our team of experienced professionals are dedicated to helping you identify current and potential lead exposures. Our comprehensive lead risk assessment begins with an in-depth interview of the occupants of the property to determine where dust wipes will be taken from. Following the interview, we will take dust samples from the floors, windowsills and window troughs. Finally, soil samples will be taken from areas with more than 9ft2 of bare soil around the perimeter of the home, gardens, and play areas. Our sample results will be compared to the EPA thresholds, including 10 ug/ft2 for floors, 100 ug/ft2 for windowsills and window troughs, 400 ppm for gardens and children’s play areas.
